Order of Omega Honor Society
Order of Omega is a nationally organized Greek Honor Society. It is open to males and females of social fraternities and sororities. To join applicants must be at least junior standing and have a 3.0 cumulative GPA at SIUC. The primary selection to this society is individual character and leadership abilities. Records will be evaluated and critiqued by the society to determine if you are eligible to join our elite society. Besides this application, applicants must also submit a copy of their SIUC transcript. After critique of all applicants, the society then votes by secret ballot to determine if applicants will join their ranks. There is a one-time $50 transaction fee for selected applicants. A personal letter and/or email will notify applicants if selected, and initiation will be towards the end of the semester. Remember, only 3% of the Greek system at any university is selected to sit on Order of Omega, making selection very keen. If you have any questions, you may contact Ray Sophie at sophier@siu.edu.
Deadline for Spring ‘08 submission is April 18 by 4:00pm
